Atas tindak aksi yang dilakukannya, Samadikun Hartono pun harus mengembalikan uang sebesar Rp 169 miliar. Menurut Kasipenkum Kejati DKI Jakarta, Nirwan Nawawi, ia baru membayar sekitar Rp 81 miliar dari total keseluruhan uang yang dikorupsi. Bahkan, Samadikun akan melunasi kewajiban miliknya sebesar Rp 87 miliar. Tak tanggung-tanggung, ia mengembalikan uang milik negara itu dalam bentuk tunai.
